Alimentaria Lisboa 2007, A Leading
International Event
Alimentaria
Lisboa, International Food Trade Fair, set to take place for the
ninth time from May 27 to 30, 2007, will once again become one of
Europes most important trade fairs for food and beverage products.
Its strategic location places it at the centre of the trade
triangle formed by Europe, Africa and South America (Brazil),
making it a natural bridge for food trade between regions with linguistic
and cultural ties to Portugal. Jointly organized by Alimentaria
Exhibitions and Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL), the show has
proven itself a genuine business hub in the food industry in the
Portuguese market and its sphere of influence.
Alimentaria Lisboa, held at the modern trade fairgrounds of the
Portuguese capitals Parque de las Naciones, boasts a total
of 42,000 m2, and will bring together over 1,400 exhibitors from
40 countries and 40,000 visitors. Around 40% of exhibitors are based
abroad.

The show features a very broad range of exhibitions distributed
among nine thematic shows designed to make visits easier to organize
